Abstract:The paper presents the experimental study of the influence of laser radiation on the texture formation on aluminum alloy, the droplet transition from Cassie to Wenzel state, as well as the main geometric characteristics of a droplet (contact angle, droplet diameter and height). It was found that laser methods for changing the characteristics and texture of metal surfaces are a modern, flexible tool that makes it possible to achieve unique results in controlling the properties of metal surfaces.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
