Study of the dynamics of a Lienard system

Abstract: This paper presents the study of the dynamics of the equationẍ + µ x 2 − 1 ẋ + tanh (x) = 0, where tanh (x) ≈ x for x 1 is the Van der Pol oscillator, where it is intended to show that said oscillator has a limit cycle around the fixed point.
