Study of the early Stage of Deposition Process for Electrodeposited Ni100-XFeX Thin Films

Abstract: The aim of this work is to understand the early stages in the growth mechanism of invar (Fe64Ni34) alloys and also to study the influence of potential on the evolution of their crystalline structures. Fe64Ni34 layers were deposited onto copper substrates under optimal conditions using the electrochemical method of cyclic voltammetry (CV) and chronoamperometry (CA). The influence of the potential is examined and the nucleation kinetics is discussed. In this purpose, the obtained experimental data was interprete… Show more

“…These results indicate that the nucleation process is instantaneous nucleation process with 3D growth under diffusion control. Pprevious studies [11,12] have shown that the initial stage of the electrocrystallization of Ni-Fe alloys are strongly affected by the applied potential and the two deposition process were observed by varying the applied potential.…”

“…Associating of the properties and structure is essential in the design of materials for engineering applications [1][2][3], which is crucial in a magnetic sensor designing and developing [4][5][6][7]. The primary determinant role of production mechanisms permit the strengthening of specific qualities of the sensor [8][9][10][11]. The development of the powders is in fact based on the type of precursor used.…”
