Study of the Electromagnetic Propagation in Stratified Anisotropic Media via Semi-Analytical Methods

Abstract

Firstly, I would like to thank to my family, and in a very special way to my parents and my sister for always being present despite the distance. They are my reason I wake up stronger every day and I continue this difficult journey without them. I wish to thank to my husband, Emilio, for being my main support, for walking beside me at all times, for his dedication and unconditional love, simply my best friend. I am very grateful to my advisor, Professor Guilherme Simon da Rosa, for his wisdom and patience, for sharing his knowledge and teaching me tirelessly, for being the light and backbone of this work.
