Abstract:In this paper, we focus on the study of nonlinear Thomson scattering process in tightly focused linearly polarized laser pulses. We simulated the interaction of linearly polarized laser pulse with a stationary electron. We find that the interaction process does not evolve linearly with increasing time and can be divided into a period of strong interaction and a period of weak interaction.
