Study of URT-1M accelerator in submicrosecond operation

Abstract: The purpose of this work was to investigate the operation of the URT-1M accelerator with a power system without SOS switch. The approaches used in the high-voltage pulse generation system of this accelerator allow generating a pulse with an amplitude of up to 500 kV, a duration of ~450 ns and a supply repetition rate up to 50 pps during discharge of the second circuit capacitor.
