Study of zones of wettability distribution based on lateral logging for oil-bearing Visean reservoirs of the Solikamsk depression

Abstract: The relationship between well electrometry data and wettability of Visean clastic reservoirs of the Solikamsk depression was studied. Results of lateral logging with conventional and special core analysis are compared. Theoretical aspects of the influence of reservoir properties, characteristics of the pore space structure and wettability on electrical conductivity is considered. Theoretical calculations of the range of variation of the specific electrical resistance in the conditions of clastic reservoirs of … Show more

“…It is necessary to differentiate petrophysical connections depending on the structure of the void space and the lithological type of rocks when analyzing core researches [1]. As IOP Publishing doi:10.1088/1755-1315/1021/1/012027 2 modern experience shows, the method of X-ray tomography of the core can be considered as a method for a detailed assessment of the structure of the void space of fractured-cavernous reservoirs [2,3]. Taking into account the complex analysis of this information and seismic data, the lithological types can be distinguished and a three-dimensional facies model of the deposit can be constructed [4,5].…”
