Study on Dynamic Roll Stability of Articulated Engineering Vehicle Based on Virtual Prototype

Abstract: Most rollover accidents involve articulated engineering vehicle due to the center of gravity shift when steering. In this paper, a virtual prototype model of a loader as the typical articulated engineering vehicle is built using multi-body dynamics software. The dynamic simulation of steering characteristic under different slop and speed is made and the roll stability is analyzed. The stable working range of the loader obtained from the simulation results can give reference for the drivers selection of vehicle… Show more

“…This modern method of designing allows to efficiently fulfill the majority of time-consuming and currently expensive stages which together form the process of the creation of a new product [4][5][6][7][8][9][10]. It may be used both in relation to the whole construction, its subgroups, or individual components [11][12][13]. Fig.…”

“…Additionally, it enables the analysis of multiple solutions without the need to build numerous physical prototypes and research stations. It can be used both in relation to the entire construction, assemblies, or individual parts [13][14][15]. In the area of prototype testing there is often the need to conduct a kinematic and dynamic analysis of multibody systems whose parts are in motion in relation to the environment and each other.…”
