Abstract:Three types of Ni8W/Ni12W/Ni8W composite substrates with different layer thickness ratios are thoroughly investigated. A composite substrate with a 1:2:1 thickness ratio is found to be more appropriate for application because of its sharper cube texture, better mechanical strength, and lower magnetization.
