In order to shorten the design cycle and facilitate the operation of design personnel, a parametric design system for large-scale high-speed shaft system detection devices was developed based on SolidWorks. The parametric design method was employed for the secondary development of SolidWorks, utilizing the software platforms SolidWorks 2018 and Microsoft Visual Studio 2019. The system was created using the VB.NET programming language, establishing a user-friendly human-machine interface window. This system achieved three-dimensional model parametric design, automatic generation of engineering drawings, and automated assembly. Finally, taking a custom model of a large-scale high-speed shaft system detection device as an example, the efficiency of the design system modeling and the intuitiveness of the design were validated.
