Study on the Pretreatment of Soil Hyperspectral and Na+ Ion Data under Different Degrees of Human Activity Stress by Fractional-Order Derivatives

Abstract: Soluble salts in saline soil often exist in the form of salt base ions, and excessive water-soluble base ions can harm plant growth. As one of the water-soluble base ions, Na+ ion, is the main indicator of the degree of soil salinization. The pretreatment of visible, near infrared and short-wave infrared (VNIR-SWIR) spectroscopy data is the key to establishing a high-precision inversion model, and a proper pretreatment method can fully extract the effective information hidden in the hyperspectral data. Meanwhi… Show more

“…The model number of this spec trometer measures a spectral range of 350 to 2500 nm [52]. During the field measurement we selected clear and cloudless noon to conduct, with the sensor probe vertically down ward and approximately 80 cm away from the soil surface, to obtain the field undisturbed soil spectrum (situ spectrum) [53]. During the indoor spectral measurement, the soil sam ple was prepared by filling and flattening the processed air-dried soil in a blood containe with a diameter of 10 cm and a depth of 2 cm.…”

“…The field hyperspectral acquisition time was implemented in early October 2017 using ASD FieldSpec ® 3Hi-Res spectrometer with 350-2500 nm wavelength [26]. The time between 11:00 and 14:00 was selected as the measurement time, and it should be performed under cloudless and windless weather conditions.…”
