Study on the stability and antioxidant effect of the Allium ursinumwatery extract

Abstract: BackgroundOrganosulfur compounds usually present a reduced stability especially in the presence of oxygen. This research aimed to study the stability and antioxidant potential of the Allium ursinum watery extract.ResultsThe decrease of the antioxidant capacity verifies an exponential relation which may be formally associated to a kinetically pseudomonomolecular process. The exponential regression equation allows the half-life of the degradation process to be determined, this being 14 hours and 49 minutes in a … Show more

“…The degree of variation of parameters was determined though variation coefficient according to the scheme of [MAMAEV LIDANSKI, 1988, PUTNOKY et al, 2013 up to 7%-very low, 7.1 to 12% low, 12.1 to 20% moderate; 20,1-40% high: over 40%-very high.…”

“…Factors correlated with formulation that can produce large differences in the bioavailability of oral solid drugs may be factors related to the substance with action pharmacological (chemical, physical or physico-chemical) factors related to the nature, quantity and reactivity excipients used or technological factors [5]. Evidently, the administration of a substance with action pharmacological in different pharmaceutical forms (granules, capsules, tablets, coated) will result in variations in the size and speed of absorption.…”

“…In the bird's-foot-trefoil forage production, the economic efficiency of the application of environmentally sound methods and means has also a great importance in weed control [MICHEV and DIMITROVA, 1986, BUTNARIU and GIUCHICI, 2011, PUTNOKY et al, 2013, BUTNARIU, 2012 . That requires a continuous search and introducing of new herbicides, whose effect is consistent with the contemporary agro-ecological conditions.…”

“…Bird's-foot trefoil is characterised by a slow initial growth rate and development after its sprouting. During this period, weeds absorb large quantities of productive moisture and nutrients from the soil and are major competitors of the culture with respect to light [DIMITROVА, 1987, BUTNARIU and GIUCHICI, 2011, PUTNOKY et al, 2013 .…”
