Abstract:Drakshasava is a formulation used as a general tonic also for anxiety, anaemia in the Ayurveda. Our previous study reports for antidepressant property were very promising. This study aims to elucidate the antidepressant mechanisms of Drakshasava by examining its effects on key neurotransmitters and stress hormones, as well as observing related behavioral changes in Wistar rats under stress models.
