Subarachnoid hemorrhage: mortality in a South American Country

Abstract: N on-traumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) usually caused by aneurysm rupture is a potentially devastating condition, feared both by patients and physicians. It is estimated that death from SAH occurs before hospital admission in 12% to 15% of cases¹.
