“…The function of the dehydrin family is not completely understood, but these proteins are involved in conferring stress tolerance (Kosová et al, 2014). Catalases and superoxide dismutases are primary antioxidant enzymes involved in the elimination of reactive oxygen species (ROS) such as the cytotoxic H 2 O 2 produced by photorespiration (Luna et al, 2005) and the superoxide generated during photosynthetic electron transport (Xu et al, 2010; Huseynova et al, 2014).
