Subclavian vein thrombosis: A case report and review of the literature

Abstract: Described herein is the case of a 55-year-old woman who was admitted to our hospital because of neck discomfort and left-arm edema. Our patient was diagnosed to have primary left subclavian vein thrombosis. The prevalence of hypercoagulable states in patients with upper-extremity, idiopathic, deep-vein thrombosis is discussed and reviewed.
