Subcontracting and Labour Standards: Reassessing the Potential of International Framework Agreements

Abstract: Attempts to regulate labour standards in multinational companies face clear difficulties, not least because companies themselves may not have the executive power to enforce terms throughout complex and fragmented subcontracting structures.
