Subependymal Giant Cell Astrocytoma Apoplexy: A Case Report and Systematic Review

Abstract: Subependymal giant cell astrocytoma (SEGA) is the most common intracranial tumor in tuberous sclerosis (TS) patients. The tumor generally localizes in the proximity of Monro's foramen; as it grows, it subsequently causes hydrocephalus and increases intracranial pressure (ICP).
