Subjective interpretation of “objective” video evidence: Perceptions of male versus female police officers’ use-of-force.

Abstract: The police face great scrutiny after highly publicized instances of lethal force. Dash-camera footage ostensibly provides "objective" evidence of whether the force was excessive.
