Sublethal heat treatment promotes breast cancer metastasis and its molecular mechanism revealed by quantitative proteomic analysis

Abstract: Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) is a frequently used thermal ablation technique for breast tumors. The study aimed to identify the effect of sublethal heat treatment on biological function of breast cancer cells and reveal its potential molecular mechanism. The expression profile of dysregulated proteins in sublethal heat treated breast cancer cells was analyzed by quantitative proteomic analysis. The differentially expressed proteins in the sublethal heat treated breast cancer were identified. The potential bio… Show more

“…Knockdown of BCLAF1 greatly reduced PD-L1 expression by promoting PD-L1 ubiquitination. Previously, using a similar method, a study focused on the expression profile of dysregulated proteins in sublethally heattreated breast cancer cells [25] . The overall expression of BCLAF1 was inhibited and the proliferation and invasion ability of breast cancer cells were activated in the sublethal heat-treated group.…”

“… 21 CRIP1 also affects the interactions of tumor cells with components of the immune system in patients with breast cancer 21 , 22 and is considered as a new biomarker for osteosarcoma, prostate cancer and breast cancer. 23 CRIP1 also acts as a clinical prognostic factor in patients with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) with t 8 , 21 translocation. 24 …”
