As a result of the intensive development of science and technology, a large number of various industries, which use the most modern technologies, have emerged. The complexity of technological processes increases the risk of situations that can cause irreparable damage to the environment. Therefore, the primary task of modern times has become the prevention of environmental problems and the reduc-tion of the consequences to which their appearance may lead, or has already led. In particular, one of the important issues that need to be solved as soon as possible is the protection of underground sources from pollution that gets there as a result of active industrial activity of mankind, which significantly affects people's health. Thus, managing the process of localization of soil and groundwater contamina-tion is an important and urgent task. Its solution will increase the reliability of engi-neering systems for the environmentally safe operation of waste storage facilities, which will significantly reduce the morbidity of people within the limits of their influence.
