Substantiation of research results on energy efficiency of basalt crushing

Abstract: Purpose. To experimentally determine the main design and operational parameters of the influence of rock mass properties on the Roller Crusher performance when processing basalt rock mass. Methodology. The crushing and grinding of basalts are studied by the methods of mathematical statistics in order to identify the results obtained and determine the dependences of technological parameters on the mechanical impact factors. Experimental studies are carried out on the example of basalts from the Rafalivskyi qu… Show more

“…The content of nitrates in the soil exceeds the maximum allowable concentration of MPC (45 mg/dm 3 ) and ranges from 30 to 90 mg/dm 3 . The content of manganese in groundwater within the study area in all samples exceeds the MPC (0.1 mg/dm 3 ). An area with a manganese content in groundwater of 50-300 mg/dm 3 has been allocated directly on the territory of the solid household waste site.…”

“…Due to the fact that mine waters are highly mineralized (average mineralization is 2.0-4.0 g/dm 3 ) and contain a significant amount of toxic substances, there is a real threat of contamination of aquifers and the fertile soil layer.…”

“…Boundary value is such a minimal content of a useful component in terms of which the sample may be included to a productive contour [29]- [32]. Apparently, the idea of geometry and structure of productive deposits as well as average percentage of useful components within them depends upon the boundary value [33], [34]. The lower boundary value is, the greater geometry of the deposits are, the simpler their shape is, and the lower mineral content is.…”
