Successful Surgical Management of a Severe Case of Starch Peritonitis

Abstract: A severe case of starch peritonitis is presented where surgical intervention and resection of the major granuloma abruptly improved the patient’s condition. The theoretical basis of the syndrome and the treatment are discussed.
