Abstract:A report of a rare case of the Salmonella spondylitis in a female patient is presented. The treatment included anterior fusion and posterior spinal instrumentation. Antibiotic therapy was initiated. Immediate results were followed up during the period of six months after surgery: supporting ability of the spine was restored, and the patient's physical and social rehabilitation was achieved.
