Successful treatment of relapsed/refractory anaplastic large cell lymphoma in adolescent patient: a case report

Abstract: The present case report demonstrates current opportunities for the treatment of relapsed/refractory anaplastic large cell lymphoma, ALK-positive (R-R ALCL) in children and adolescents. This type of lymphoma lends sufficient chance of cure even in R-R cases, due to effective targeted therapy and high efficiency of allogeneic hematopoetic stem cell transplantation, thus demonstrating curative potential in the patients with active disease prior to transplantation.
