Successful use of minocycline hydrochloride sclerotherapy to treat a functioning parathyroid cyst in a 76‐year‐old woman

Abstract: Parathyroid cysts (PC) are uncommon: only 230 cases have been reported. They can be functional or non‐functional. The standard treatment consists of percutaneous aspiration of the cyst and surgical excision for recurrent lesions. An unusual case of a functioning PC was successfully treated with sclerotherapy using minocycline hydrochloride in a 76‐year‐old woman.
