Abstract:Sugar beet (Beta vulgaris ssp. vulgaris), a key crop for sugar production, faces significant yield losses by the green peach aphid Myzus persicae (Sulzer) and black bean aphid Aphis fabae (Scop.) as well as the transmission of virus by these aphids.
