Sugarcane as a forage plant: Structural and chemical traits that affect fiber quality

Abstract: Sugarcane is widely used as feed for cattle, buffalo, goats, and sheep, primarily during drought periods. Some sugarcane cultivars contain low digestibility fibers, which compromises animal performance.
