Abstract:We report epitaxial growth and superconducting properties of superconductor/ferromagnet (S/F) multilayers consisting of an s-wave superconducting bismuthate BaPb0.75Bi0.25O3 (BPBO) and a ferromagnetic insulating manganite La0.875Sr0.125MnO3 (LSMO). We demonstrate that the superconductivity of BPBO sandwiched by LSMO is preserved down to a thickness close to the superconducting coherence length. The superconducting transition temperature of BPBO is unaffected by the magnetization alignment of the LSMO layers, w… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
