“…The Cui group proposed two superconducting Li 6 C electrides, 21 which can be stabilized below one million atmospheres by the sp-hybridized cage-like IAEs. Our predicted Li 6 P ( T c = 39.3 K) 6 and designed Li 8 Au ( T c = 73.1–81.2 K) 22 have refreshed the electride superconductivity records twice in a row. Besides, a large amount of superconducting Li-rich electrides have been theoretically proposed such as CaLi 2 , 23 Li 8 Cs, 24 Li 5 C, 7,25 Li 5 S, 26 Li 9 Te, 27 Li 10 Se, 28 Li 3 Ar, 29 and Li 5 He 2 .…”

“…3b) that is shown to be favorable for the formation of stable Cooper pairs. 74 PDOS analysis reveals that its metallicity stems mainly from the contribution of N 2p, which is the typical anion-driven (N 2 − ) metallicity. Further decomposition of PDOS indicates that the contribution of N 2p z to metallicity is much higher than that of N 2p x and 2p y (Fig.…”

“…19 It is worth noting that the Li 8 Au electride has a predicted T c of 73.1 K at 250 GPa, which is the highest among the already known electrides. 30 However, the superconducting electrides are rather limited in both kinds and quantities. Hence, considering the good superconducting properties of hydrides and the potential of hydrogen-based electrides, searching for electride-superconductors in hydrides is of great interest and importance.…”
