Superfluorescence from lead halide perovskite quantum dot superlattices

Abstract: An ensemble of emitters can behave very differently from its individual constituents when they interact coherently via a common light field. After excitation of such an ensemble, collective coupling can give rise to a many-body quantum phenomenon that results in short, intense bursts of light-so-called superfluorescence 1. Because this phenomenon requires a fine balance of interactions between the emitters and their decoupling from the environment, together with close identity of the individual emitters, super… Show more

“…[20][21][22][23][26][27][28] Thea bove phenomena show that the dark STEs state of Cs 2 NaInCl 6 NCs exists and is broken by doping Ag + .Thus, the property of dark STEs state of Cs 2 NaInCl 6 NCs can be analogized by the property of bright STEs state of Ag-doped NCs (details in Figure S20). Thephysical origin of this transition from dark STEs state to bright STEs state have two reasons.Firstly,The interaction of NaCl 6 and AgCl 6 octahedra can break the parity-forbidden transition leading to effective PL emission. [32] Secondly, large lattice vibrations can cause PL quenching (nonradiative recombination pathway).…”

“…Inthe past few years,a ll-inorganic lead perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) have aroused interest because of their outstanding photoelectric properties and as promising materials in light-emitting devices (LEDs). [1][2][3][4][5][6][7] However, the toxicity of Pb has limited their application. Therefore, replacement of Pb with less toxic or non-toxic elements becomes an effective solution and has been investigated.…”

“…Recent advances in the synthesis of nanomaterials with outstanding properties combined with new processing technologies can lead to highly functional and highly miniaturized components and systems at increasingly lower costs . The efficiency of nanodevices critically depends on nanomanufacturing of functional elements and their encapsulation and packaging.…”
