Supersymmetry parameter analysis: SPA convention and project

Abstract: High-precision analyses of supersymmetry parameters aim at reconstructing the fundamental supersymmetric theory and its breaking mechanism. A well defined theoretical framework is needed when higher-order corrections are included. We propose such a scheme, Supersymmetry Parameter Analysis SPA, based on a consistent set of conventions and input parameters. A repository for computer programs is provided which connect parameters in different schemes and relate the Lagrangian parameters to physical observables at … Show more

“…In section 5 we will then show how it is possible for MRSSM to accommodate both the lightest Higgs boson mass of 125 GeV and the correct W boson mass and which regions of parameter space are still viable for the model. 1 Parameters are defined following the SPA convention [37].…”

“…First SUSY search results at the LHC with an integrated luminosity of about 1 fb −1 of data excluded six out of the nine SPS benchmark points that had been in use since about a decade [36,37]. These cMSSM points therefore had to be replaced by new lines [6] where, motivated by the constraints derived from the measurements of the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon (g − 2) µ and the rare b → sγ decay, only models with a positive off-diagonal Higgs mixing parameter µ > 0 and tan β = 10, A 0 = 0 GeV or tan β = 40, A 0 = −500 GeV were chosen.…”

“…Their discovery is one of the main goals of present and future colliders in the TeV range. In particular, the international e + e − linear collider (ILC) will be an excellent tool to determine the parameters of the SUSY model with high precision [4][5][6][7][8]. Such a machine provides high luminosity L = 500 fb −1 , a center-of-mass energy of √ s = 500 GeV in the first stage, and a polarised electron beam with the option of a polarised positron beam [9].…”
