Abstract:Three sediment cores of >1m length (Co1204, Co1215, Co1216) were recovered from Lake Prespa in 2007 and 2009 using a floating platform (Wagner et al., 2012). A gravity corer was used for undisturbed surface sediments, and a 3-m-long percussion piston corer (UWITEC Co. Austria) was used for deeper sediments.
