Supplementing Conventional Treatment with Pycnogenol® May Improve Hepatitis C Virus–Associated Type 2 Diabetes: A Mini Review

Abstract: Hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) present a significant health burden, with increasing complications and mortality rates worldwide. Pycnogenol® (PYC), a natural product, possesses antidiabetic and antiviral properties that may improve HCV-associated T2DM.
