Abstract:The paper presents studies of the content of retinol and retinyl esters in the liver and serum of rats under conditions of acetaminophen-induced lesions and alimentary protein deficiency. During the experiment, the animals consumed a semi-synthetic diet of AIN-93. Simulation of acute toxic damage was carried out by per os administration of acetaminophen to rats at the rate of 1250 mg/kg of animal weight.
