Abstract:Antifungal resistance, particularly the rise of multidrug‐resistance strains, poses a significant public health threat. In this study, the study identifies a novel multidrug‐resistance gene, msp‐8, encoding a helicase, through experimental evolution with Neurospora crassa as a model.
