Abstract:In this article, a method on suppressing cross-band scattering effect of dualband dual-polarized shared-aperture antenna is proposed. The antenna consists of a lower-band (LB) element and a 2 Â 2 higher-band (HB) array. The proposed LB element radiator is a pair of crisscross-shaped dipoles using sparse frequency selective surface (SFSS) which is composed of a rectangular ring and a rectangular inner patch. This LB element exhibits wave-transparent reducing blockage and interference for HB array and achieving r… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
