Surface effect measurement of a small scattering object in highly scattering medium by use of diffuse photon-pairs density wave

Abstract: We present a novel approach to measure the surface effect of a small scattering object in a highly scattering medium by using the amplitude and phase signal of diffuse photon-pairs density wave (DPPDW). The results demonstrate that DPPDW has high sensitivity for resolving the surface effect of a small object.
