Abstract:We present a novel approach to measure the surface effect of a small scattering object in a highly scattering medium by using the amplitude and phase signal of diffuse photon-pairs density wave (DPPDW). The results demonstrate that DPPDW has high sensitivity for resolving the surface effect of a small object. Imaging in highly scattering media with the developed DPPDW method can potentially increase the spatial resolution of small scattering inclusions.keywords:surface effect, scattering medium, diffuse photon… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
