Abstract:RSSI based localization methods for wireless capsule endoscopy (WCE) application requires a patient to wear on-body sensors detecting the RF signals from the capsule. The main advantage of WCE is to allow the patient to live normally and to move freely during the natural transit time, which could take up to 73 hours. Changes in posture can be accompanied by the movement of soft tissues in the abdominal region. This will affect the propagation path length between on-body receiving sensors and the ingested wirel… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
