Surface hydrophilizing modification of polytetrafluoroethylene/glass fiber fabric through oxidant-induced polydopamine deposition

Abstract: This paper reports surface hydrophilizing modification of polytetrafluoroethylene/glass fiber fabric by employing bio-inspired polydopamine functionalization. The modification process was accelerated by introducing sodium periodate (NaIO4) as oxidant.
