Abstract:The lipase from Aspergillus oryzae was modified with a surfactant and then observed to exhibit high catalytic efficiency and enantioselectivity for the kinetic resolution of (RS)-1-phenylethanol. The influential factors of the modified-lipase preparation were investigated, including the surfactant source, the organic cosolvent, and the buffer pH. The optimum modification conditions were found with a surfactant of polyoxyethylene sorbitan monopalmitate, an organic cosolvent of tetrahydrofuran and a phosphate bu… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
