Surgery for Pancreatic and Periampullary Carcinoma

Abstract: Surgical resection for pancreatic and periampullary cancer has evolved over several decades. The postoperative mortality for these resections has declined to less than 5 %. However, morbidity associated with these resections is still considerable.
