Abstract: The bicuspid aortic valve (BAV) is the most common congenital cardiac malformation associated with aortopathy. The current study provides surgical clinical data on the patient characteristics and long-term survival of this less common adult purely BAV population undergoing surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR) with concomitant aortic surgery.
