Abstract:The incidence of dengue has grown dramatically around the world in recent decades. The disease is now endemic in more than 100 countries. But whenever there is large dengue outbreak in any region around the world, many of these cases are misdiagnosed as other febrile illness and many a times it has mislead the surgeons of some acute or other surgical conditions.
