Surgical (over) treatment of pediatric Lyme arthritis: a need for faster Borrelia testing

Abstract: Pediatric Lyme arthritis is described but not well-characterized in urban populations. Similarities in clinical features between Lyme and septic arthritis also results in some patients with Lyme arthritis undergoing surgical treatment.
