Surgical repair of the Achilles tendon using a posterolateral paramedian incision

Abstract: Introduction: Operative reconstruction is the preferred method of treatment for ruptured Achilles tendons in most patients. Several surgical approaches have been described. Sural nerve injury has been reported with each method.
