Abstract: Salmonella is known to cause gastrointestinal illness globally. Primarily being an enteric pathogen, other extraintestinal infections are often obscured by gastrointestinal disease. However, Salmonella has also been reported to cause wound infections, endovascular infections, pneumonia, abscess, and osteomyelitis.
