Abstract:Nonarteritic and nonarteriosclerotic atypical thoracoabdominal aortic coarctation (ATAC) is a rare, often inherited malformation. If the abdominal aorta is involved, additional stenoses of visceral arteries may occur, making surgical correction difficult.
