Surgical treatment of aortic aneurysm and aortic dissection: A retrospective analysis of 122 cases

Abstract: The study summarizes the clinical experience of surgical treatments of various types of thoracic aneurysm and aortic dissection. Clinical data of 122 patients with thoracic aneurysm and aortic dissection during July 2005 to July 2008 were retrospectively analyzed. The elective operations were performed in 107 patients while emergency surgery was done in 15 cases. Different surgical strategies were employed on the basis of diseased region, including simple ascending aortic replacement (n=3), aortic root replace… Show more

“…The radiation images of red (R) and green (G) are from the colour flame image, which are assumed directly proportional to I R and I G , the approximately monochromatic radiation at their central wavelengths of λ r = 0.61 μm and λ g = 0.51 μm respectively. The central wavelengths have been obtained by carefully testing [25] the CCD camera used in the measurements. By Planck's law of radiation [26] and the two-colour method [27], the flame image temperature T and emissivity ε can be computed with the calculated I R and I G [28] on the assumption of grey radiation, which is applicable for the coal combustion flame [27].…”

“…The reflected natural light from the target is filtered through the RGB color filters to obtain RGB single-channel images, which can be further fused to approximate a naturallooking color image. The R, G, and B color filters are installed on the filter wheel and rotated sequentially around its axis to switch between filters, thereby capturing the target's RGB color images [17,18]. The selected wavelength bands and transmittance of each color filter are as follows:…”

“…The selection of these RGB filter wavelengths not only considers the requirements for low-light true-color imaging but also extends the application of low-light night vision in the field of low-light remote sensing for object discrimination [18].…”
