Survey and Population Studies on Coleopterous Fauna of Northern Sinai and Beni–suif Governorates Using Light Traps

Abstract: A survey together with studies on population densities and relative abundance of coleopterous species were conducted by the use of light traps at Al-Arish city, North Sinai and Sids Agricultural Research Station, Beba City, Beni Suif during 2005. At Beni-Suif the survey revealed the presence of 45 coleopterous species belonging to 31 genera of 9 families:
