Every road investment has both positive and negative consequences in spatial, economic, environmental, and social terms. The objective of the article is the social assessment of the effect of construction of the Southern Warsaw Ring Road (WRR) on: (i) the quality of life of the local community, and (ii) the residential real estate market. The analyses employed the method of quantitative analysis with the application of the survey technique. The questionnaire was made publicly available to residents of the Wilanów district in Warsaw. Results obtained in the scope of the study render decision making models of respondents depending on the distance of the place of residence from the WRR. The results reveal that responses given by the group of respondents living nearer the ring road are the most variable, particularly in the context of assessing the effect of the investment on the quality of life, including nuisance related to the express road and plans to change the place of residence. The same group of respondents provided the highest share of responses supporting the claim that housing prices increased due to the construction of the ring road.

The objective of the paper is the identification of priority directions of activities for multifunctional rural development, followed by their social assessment in the context of the paradigm of the multifunctionality of such areas. Consequently, the current assumptions of the idea were confronted with reality, and expectations were confronted with need. The analysis also covers the activity of respondents in the scope of activities for multifunctional development. According to the obtained results, progress and activities in the scope of the economic (development and modernisation of technical infrastructure, technological progress, innovativeness) and social function (development and modernisation of social infrastructure) are of key importance. The paper is based on the results of a survey conducted in 2021. The survey covered residents of rural areas in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship.

Celem badania była ocena postrzegania inhalatorów suchego proszku przez pacjentów z astmą. Przeprowadzono badanie ankietowe w grupie 98 dorosłych leczonych glikokortykosteroidem wziewnym i długo działającym β2-mimetykiem z inhalatorem suchego proszku. Według opinii pacjentów inhalator powinien być łatwy w prawidłowym używaniu i utrzymaniu higieny, mieć licznik dawek, noszenie go przy sobie nie powinno sprawiać trudności, a także powinna być zachowana dostępność wszystkich leków potrzebnych choremu w danym inhalatorze. Cechy użytkowe i związane z techniką inhalacji z inhalatora Airmaster® były bardzo dobrze postrzegane przez zdecydowaną większość pacjentów.
